If you enjoy gas cooking and enjoy simplicity this is a great stove for your money. There are no timers, not a clock the propane conversion can be difficult if you are not carful it's hard to find the correct size tools because the little golden tips are quite small. Drop one if you can't find it it's cost about 18 with shipping and handling. however it does work very well for baking and stove top cooking! The top gets a tad greasy easy, very easy. Once in a while I just use goo be gone. This product is made in America. For the price for the simplicity it is a great range.Â

I don't recommend this product at all. Several days after it was delivered it had cosmetic issues. The lower part of the range came undo and Home Depot & GE did not fix it. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with this product.

This range is an excellent value and works well. However, it has one major drawback. The broiler on the bottom is not a drawer but a flip down door which forces you to bend down to floor level and reach into the oven to place items in broiler. A slide out drawer would have been much better.

This range is simple in design, but the material that's made of is heavy and high quality. The simmer burner and boil burner are very nice features. Water has never boiled so fast, and sauce has never tasted so delicious. I was looking for a range without electronic controls for added reliability and durability, and considering the quality of this range, I'm so glad that I bought this range.

I love this design. It is replacing a hotpoint with a bad control board ($380 + shipping+installation) This stove has old school controls without need for control board.
The only thing I miss from the old stove is the bake timer however the nearby microwave has a timer.
If I used the broiler much, I would whine about it's location on the floor.

Does what it says. It took 3 oven burn-offs at 450 degrees at 5 hours each time to get rid of the chemical oven smell (which was VERY strong at first - open your windows!). The top grates are rather slippery, some heated fry pans slid right off onto the floor, so keep an eye out for that. Like the simplicity of use, basic dials etc. Need to use an oven thermometer to check the oven temp.

This is a no-frills gas oven and stove, but at $499, the price point is right. However, our appliance arrived with a broken oven igniter. GE sent a technician to inspect the issue 15 days after the appliance arrived and we notified them of the problem. The technician confirmed the igniter was bad, but that he didn't carry the part. We are still waiting for the follow-up. It's a $55 part that I am pretty sure I could install myself. So, I'll give them a few more days to see if they can get their act together. If not, I'll do it repair and make sure I buy Whirlpool from Costco, not Home Depot, in the future. Where is Jack Donaghy's triple convection oven when you need one? Oh, the good ole days.

The black is very pretty with the stainless but I am finding it difficult to clean. If you don't dry the stove top thoroughly it leaves the wash marks showing on the black .I spilt a little hot milk on the stove top and it was nearly impossible to get off even with the recommended cleaners. I had to scrape it off. And in general I have the same problem with any small spill on the stove top burner grates and glass on the oven door. The burner grills seem to be coated with something that I assume was thought to make them clean easily but it seems to have the opposite effect.
The oven racks arrived discolored and the joints were opening up. They were replaced by GE without trouble. The other night I made something requiring shaking the pan back and forth on the stove top and now I see the stove top grate is scratched. Also not thrilled with the oven heat vents blowing the heat onto the oven door handle making it hot.
I love the look of the stove as well as the simplicity of the knob controls. I also like the broiler still being at the bottom and not in the oven. However the backboard of the stove screams " Give me a clock". More women should design products and these issues would not exist!

Cooks great, both the range and oven. I would give five stars if it had an electronic pad to put it in the oven heat instead of a knob (it also doesn't beep when it's ready) a clock would also be nice.

In 2020 no stove should be lacking a timer or a preheat alert (a beep or a light). It's ridiculous and I don't care how cheap it is, these features NEED to be on all stoves. Wouldn't recommend for anyone over the age of 20.
