Fridge is roomy, but the light in the middle where it is situated when filled up the items cover the light. Wish the freezer had a bit more room and came with more shelves and a basket for the bottom. The in door holders are very small and I can fit one bag of vegies in them. We are getting used to it.

Overall I like the refrigerator. However, the side by side has a small freezer. Because it's so narrow it doesn't hold a lot. If it had another rack/shelf in the freezer it would help. It has the slots for another rack, but only comes with the 3 shelves and a bottom drawer. If I didn't have another freezer I wouldn't have enough space. I'm completely satisfied with the refrigerator side, it's large with plenty of space and the ice maker in the door has kept up with me so far (and I use a lot of ice)

Exterior finish is easy to clean. Refrigerator is very roomy. Love how shelves slide out!!
Compartments on door are large, perfect for condiments and drinks.
Freezer is very small, but when the organized it's doable.

The motor is loud and very annoying. One of the reasons we have to move from the apartment. And it's a new refrigerator! Ice crusher is terrible. The apartment manager replaced it because of that but the new one is the same.

I bought a GE refrigerator 18 months ago and already have a problem. The freezer was full of foggy and GE said the warranty had expired. I used to have a Wirpool for 12 years and never had problem. So I'm very mad and I'll never buy GE appliance again.

Had high-pitch whine which was corrected with fan replacement under warranty, works fine now but took a month for service. Looks good, ice maker slow, water not real cold at first but becomes colder as glass fills. Like the way doors close.

I've had this refrig. for almost a year. I've enjoyed the features, ice, water, etc. I would have given it a 5 star, but compared to my older GE refrig. it's louder when dumping the ice.I feel it needs more insulation so it would be quieter. The indoor compartments are more bulkier, taking up more space then older GE refrig. I do like how easy it is to clean, the clear glass adjustable shelves. .

Only 2 negatives: (1) The refrigerator "sings/hums" constantly, which can be very annoying and distracting. (2) I don't understand why you would sell a refrigerator with one shelf (just above the bottom bin) missing. I had to spend an additional $40+ to make the refrigerator complete. Not a very positive marketing approach.

Overall I like the refrigerator. I had to refer to the manual to find out that the buzzing/dripping/zapping sound is normal. Apparently this is normal sounds when it is defrosting. The down side is not being able to empty a drip pan. There is a small puddle that forms under my refrigerator that can only be wiped up by moving the refrigerator. The ice maker, when using crushed ice function, is noisy and takes a bit of time to get the ice to start but once it does it is good. I occasionally have to hit my ice on top of the bucket to loosen them up to get cubes since it tends to freeze together from time to time. Water does not seem to be chilled as much as my other refrigerator but that's what the ice is for i guess. Overall a nice refrigerator with three drawers and lots of shelves inside refrigerator. The freezer space is smaller than my other one but I have a larger freezer in my garage anyway.

Side-by-side refrigerator is small, noisy, runs a lot, and interior not made of substantive materials. There are gaps across the back of interior of the appliance, which I fear will cause problems later on. Frost forms in the interior of the refrigerator when the ice maker chopper option is used. The price is what sold us on the frig...we hope it lasts!

We needed a fridge that was under 34" and this was supposed to be the least problematic but...it is very noisy when cycling. Sounds like a distant foghorn. If the tv is off and sitting with coffee in the quiet, forget it!

Cooled down quickly and stays there. 0F on freezer and 37F on refrigerator side. Lots of room and the front door ice maker and water is nice and tall allowing for bigger glasses. The LED lighting is also a very nice touch that makes plenty of light on the interior.

I read several reviews about the really small freezer, but that wasn't going to be an issue for me because I have another freezer. The 1 thing that led me to a 2 star rating is that the top shelf isn't as cold as it should be. I've tried numerous times to lower the setting to 34 degrees, which is as low as it will go, but the top shelf is always 40 degrees. I have to add ice to beverages to drink them. Sometimes the cubed ice comes out more crushed than cubed, but that's not a big deal for me.

It's difficult to find a refrigerator that is less than 33 inches wide. This one fits perfectly and the features are modern, quiet and efficient. We purchased an additional freezer shelf to maximize the space. Thank you GE for another great appliance!

This fridge is great for the price. The space in the refrigerator is great, I wish the freezer had a little more space. I have noticed a faint beeping sound coming from the appliance in the afternoons (it's not the door alarm) - which is annoying. Otherwise, it runs quiet and looks great.
